Before the new school year the Roanoke Rescue Mission hosts The Back 2 School Blast which supplies under-served children in the Roanoke Valley with backpacks, writing utensils, hair cuts and new shoes!
Through God's grace and our membership's generosity, St Mark's is the shoe sponsor for B2SB. This means that we are the people who have the amazing opportunity to take the old shoes and socks off children, wash their feet, pray for their school year, and put brand new socks and shoes on them.
This event is amazing and is always more of a blessing than any of us could ever imagine!
