Monthly Connections

Monthly small groups are open groups that meet consistently.  These groups pertain to specific interests, passions and stages of life.  If you are interested in one of these Connection Groups please contact the facilitator or stop in!

  • United Methodist Women

Facilitators: Nancy Craft & Katie Clemens 2nd Monday of Each Month @7pm

This women’s group focuses on missions that improve the lives of women, children and youth locally and abroad.  We meet in order to have vibrant fellowship together as well as talk about pressing issues in our Lord’s world and how we may make an impact on them.  All women are welcome to join!

  • United Methodist Men

Facilitator: Jeff Huddleston- 2nd Monday of Each Month @7pm:

Our mission is To help men grow in Christ so others may know Christ.  The United Methodist men are a mission-minded group of men who work together to serve the local church, share in fellowship together, and reach out into the community in the name of Christ.  All men are welcome.

  • Prayer Shawl Ministry

Facilitator: Nancy Hamblin - Last Thursday of Each Month @ 1pm. If your passion is to sew, knit or crochet we would love for your to join us for the Prayer Shawl Ministry.  Together we knit and crochet blankets and shawls for those who are sick, lonely or just needing a little more hope. Blankets are also given to newly baptized babies and children as a symbol that they’re always wrapped in the love and faith of their church family!

  • Girl Power

Girl Power is a support group of 5th - 12th grade ladies along with mom and other women. The tween/teen years are often difficult to navigate for young women and their mothers. Our gatherings allow these girls to be themselves, respect each other for who they are, and foster the understanding that we are all different while sharing the common bond of faith in God. We grow and support each other regardless of our age, school, neighborhood or circumstance.   Girl Power is a place to focus on you! For more information contact the church directly.
