Weekly Connection Groups

Weekly small groups are groups that meet consistently.  These groups pertain to specific interests, passions and stages of life.  If you are interested in one of these Connection Groups please contact the facilitator or stop in!

  • God 101

    Facilitator: Pastor Justin White

    Tuesdays @ St Mark’s 7pm

this group explores a new topic every 4 to 6 weeks.  Just a few examples: How was the bible put together?  Who were the 12 disciples?  What does it mean to be Methodist?  No homework, and no experience necessary.  Bring your questions and your sense of humor!

  • Before Amen Prayer Study

    Facilitator: Peggy Lootens

    Date & Time: TBA

We will explore this mysterious thing called prayer with a Max Lucado book, Before Amen.  Participants will be invited to share other resources that aid them in prayer time.

  • Women's Bible Study

    Facilitator: Susan Wagner

    Tuesdays @ St Mark’s 10am

A women’s Bible study in which we follow a specific book or topic.  These studies finish and move directly into the next topic. The first study will be focusing on the Lord’s prayer. All women are welcome!

  • Disciple I

    Facilitator: Harvey Woodmansee

    Thursdays @ St. Mark’s  6:30-8:30pm

Scripture is the most important of the four elements of John Wesley’s theology.

As United Methodists we believe that our scripture are God-breathed and are to be studies and should somehow change our lives.

If we do not have a true understanding of scripture, we can not be true disciples.   Disciple Bible Study aims at transformation, not just information.

Each person in the class will need access to a study Bible and will need to purchase a Study Manual.  The cost of each manual is approximately $35.00.  If cost is a burden, we have scholarship funds available.
